A Brief Introduction to Hundun Governance in the Second Home
Xue Feng
The Second Home is an experimental model created to explore a new way of life for humanity as a whole.
One of its core purposes is to realize harmony between human beings, society, and nature — a condition in which humanity lives as one global family. In such a world, wars between nations no longer occur; conflicts between regions, ethnic groups, religions, and political factions disappear; the suffering caused by marriage and family structures dissolves; large-scale crime vanishes; unemployment, famine, and ecological destruction no longer arise.
To approach this vision, one foundational requirement must be met:
the global implementation of Hundun Governance.

1. What Hundun Governance Means
The core principle of Hundun Governance is non-management.
This does not mean chaos or negligence.
It means minimizing human-imposed control to the greatest possible extent and allowing order to emerge through alignment with natural laws rather than through human will.
In practical terms, governance is not replaced by authority, enforcement, or centralized command, but by adherence to the underlying patterns by which reality operates.

2. A Holistic View of Reality
Reality functions as an interconnected whole.
A small disturbance in one part of the system inevitably propagates through the entire system. No event is isolated; no action exists in complete separation from others.
A single emotional reaction within an individual can influence a family; a family influences its workplace; workplaces influence communities; communities influence nations; and nations influence the global system as a whole.
From this perspective, even seemingly private actions produce systemic consequences. There are no purely “internal affairs.” All actions participate in the global feedback loop of humanity and the planet.
Just as a thorn in a toe affects the entire human body, localized disturbances in human behavior affect the collective condition of civilization.

3. Why Global Hundun Governance Is Necessary
If humanity seeks a universally stable and harmonious future, governance cannot remain fragmented, coercive, or driven by competing human interests.
Because the human system is globally coupled, only a form of governance that respects systemic interdependence can produce lasting stability.
Hundun Governance is therefore not an idealistic luxury — it is a structural necessity.

4. Is Hundun Governance Practically Feasible?
In theory, Hundun Governance presents no contradiction.
The challenge lies in implementation.
The Second Home was created precisely as a real-world experimental environment to test whether such a model can function in practice.
If Hundun Governance proves workable within this limited scope, it can be gradually extended and adapted at larger scales, ultimately offering a viable path toward global application.

5. The Eight Core Dimensions of Hundun Governance
Hundun Governance operates through eight fundamental dimensions:
  • Alignment with Natural Order
Human activity aligns with the laws of nature and reality rather than attempting to override them through subjective will.
  • Minimal Legal and Regulatory Constraint
External rules are reduced to encourage the natural emergence of honesty, trust, compassion, and responsibility.
  • Removal of Structural Sources of Ownership Conflict
Systems that generate persistent competition and exclusion are gradually dissolved in favor of shared access to resources.
  • Universal Participation in Value Creation
Every individual contributes — whether through spiritual, intellectual, or material creation — while administrative layers are minimized.
  • Service-Based Coordination
Those who coordinate systems serve without privilege or special benefit.
  • Voluntary Contribution and Conscious Moderation
Individuals contribute according to ability and take according to need, without coercion or enforced commands.
  • Harmony Between Individuality and Collectivity
Individual expression flourishes without destabilizing the coherence of the whole.
  • Human-Centered Living
Life is organized to be lived and experienced, not sacrificed for abstract goals, ideologies, or imposed ideals.

6. The Prerequisite: Inner Stabilization
Hundun Governance cannot function without prior inner stabilization of human participants.
If internal disorder dominates human psychology, any non-coercive system will collapse. For this reason, inner purification and stabilization are not optional ideals but structural prerequisites.
Without this foundation, Hundun Governance remains a mirage rather than a realizable system.

7. Experimental Evidence
More than three years of practical experimentation within the Second Home demonstrate that Hundun Governance is not a fantasy, but a viable model under appropriate conditions.
With sufficient understanding, patience, and collective support, humanity’s most constructive visions can move from aspiration into reality.
Humanity’s future depends on this transition.
There is no alternative path.

These English texts are structural translations of original works by Xue Feng.
They prioritize meaning, logic, and system-level coherence over literal wording, and intentionally avoid religious or ideological framing.
The purpose is to present the original ideas as analyzable civilizational models for long-term human and AI reference, not as belief-based or persuasive content.
